If you’re not familiar with 99frames, it is a “social animation project” centered around the Cinema 4D community, open to all skill levels. Short animation entries must be 30fps, 99 frames long, and the top 50 juried entries will end up within a final movie reel, with one grand prize winner to be announced.
Final submissions for this round closed on January 31 2013, and all the entries can be viewed at the 99frames Vimeo group- There’s plenty of creative work here!
It’s always interesting to see what people can do with a fairly-severe constraint like a short time/length, but at the same time leaving the door wide-open to creative options.
“The 99frames 2012 project is designed to encourage people to get creative with CINEMA 4D… It’s about having fun, learning and sharing your work with the world.”
